DAY 1: ON ARRIVAL DANANG - HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN

Your private guide will meet you outside of the arrival hall at Da Nang International Airport then transfer to Hoi An for lunch then check in hotel and relax.

DAY 2: ROUND BASKET BOAT EXPERIENCE – HOI AN WALKING TOUR – HOI AN MEMORIES SHOW

Fuel up for a day of exploration with a delicious breakfast at your hotel.

Embrace the tranquil beauty of Hoi An’s natural wonders! We’ll depart for the enchanting Bay Mau Coconut Forest and experience Water Life on a special round basket boat.

Nestled amidst Hoi An’s captivating landscape lies Bay Mau Coconut Forest, a haven for nature enthusiasts and culture seekers alike.

Imagine yourself gently floating on the Thu Bon River aboard a traditional round basket boat. As you weave through the towering coconut groves, keep your eyes peeled for the diverse birdlife and aquatic creatures that thrive in this ecosystem. You might even get the chance to learn traditional fishing techniques, a firsthand experience of the area’s rich heritage.

After lunch, immerse yourself in the rich history and charm of Hoi An Ancient Town on a guided walking tour. Located on the banks of the poetic Thu Bon River, Hoi An ancient town is an Eastern oriental classic captivation. Between the 17th and 19th centuries, Hoi An was a prosperous trading port, with a number of foreign occupations. These included the Japanese and Chinese, and and also western (Dutch and Spanish) during the 16th and 17th centuries.

Today, this UNESCO World Heritage listed ancient town is home to well-preserved buildings, pedestrianized streets, a quaint riverside and unique cuisines. The narrow lanes are ideal for a 3 hours walking tour to give you a glimpse of an ancient town with its illustrious past. You will visit the Japanese Bridge, the Assembly Hall of Chinese, an old merchant’s house – Tan Ky beautiful town of all lanterns by night.

In the evening, you will enjoy a special performance in Hoi An – the “Hoi An Memories” show, which captures the heroic and romantic essence of Hoi An. This outdoor visual arts spectacle takes you on a journey through the rich history, culture, and identity of the town. Featuring over 500 dancers and actors, along with stunning props, captivating stage effects, eye-catching choreography, and state-of-the-art sound and lighting, the show unfolds on a grand 25,000-square-meter stage

DAY 3: HOI AN – BANA HILLS – HUE CITY

After breakfast, check out hotel then we depart to visit Bana Hills.

Bana Hills, inherited from the French, has refreshingly cool weather and gorgeous countryside views.

Until WWII, the French were carried up the last 20km of rough mountain road by sedan chair, but now a 5.7km (the world’s longest) cable car system has opened up access. The ride involves a rise of almost 1400m, a truly spectacular trip over dense jungle and waterfalls.

Folklore says that when the French arrived in this region, they saw a lot of bananas and gradually this morphed to Ba Na!

Walk the Golden Bridge…

This amazing construction has attracted visitors worldwide, eager to see a novel piece of architecture famed for its unusual design.

The pedestrian walkway, sits at over 1,000 meters (3,280 feet) above sea level and extends over the treetops from the edge of a leafy cliff face, offering visitors uninterrupted views of the majestic landscape beneath.

The bridge was designed to evoke the image of the ‘giant hands of God’, pulling a strip of gold out of the and to connect the cable car station with the gardens and to provide an amazing scenic overlook.

We’ll remain flexible as to the walks and sites visited.

Lunch is included, following which we’ll continue to Hue to arrive by around mid to late afternoon.

DAY 4: OUR LADY OF LA VANG – HUE CITADEL – THIEN AN MONASTERY

In the morning, we will we will forward to Our Lady of La Vang – A major pilgrimage center for Catholics in Vietnam. La Vang is located in the Dinh Cat Parish of Quang Tri Province, 6 km from Quang Tri Town and 58 km from Hue Ancient Capital.

Then back to Hue for lunch in a local restaurant to enjoy Hue dishes.

After lunch, we will visit the Forbidden City. The poetic and beautiful Hue of Vietnam was chosen to be the capital of the Southern Kingdom under the Nguyen Lords’ Dynasty and officially became the nation’s capital under the Tay Son Dynasty, King Quang Trung. The Citadel Palace complex is located on the North bank of Huong River (PerfumeRiver), inside Hue city. At the time, the Purple Forbidden City had many buildings and hundreds of rooms. It suffered from termite and cyclone damage but was still very impressive.

After ending a meaningful day, we take time to enjoy the atmosphere at Thien An Monastery. It  is located in Thuy Bang, Huong Thuy, Thua Thien Hue, in a romantic, airy space in the middle of the forest of pine. After many years of establishment, with type of design as convent church, Thien An Monastery still retains its intimacy, harmonize with nature, and be beautiful between forest. We will have a great time there.

DAY 5: HUE - FLY TO HANOI – SAPA TOWN

In the morning, we will departure for a private transferring to the airport for your flight to Hanoi.

Scheduled domestic flight from Hue (HUI to Hanoi Noi Bai Airport (HAN) takes approximately 90 minutes (Air tickets will be arranged by Vietnam Catholic Tours)

ARRIVAL INTO HANOI NOI BAI AIRPORT.

Meet you outside of the arrivals hall and private transfer to Hanoi city, which takes around 45 minutes.

Our guide and car will meet you at the airport, and take you to a local restaurant in Hanoi for lunch.

Then we’ll drive northwest, to the mountain town of Sapa.

The journey to Sapa is around 350km and will take around 6- 7 hours. During the drive, we’ll make suitable stops as required for photos and breaks. The journey, while long – does allow you to experience the quite stunning scenery on the way.

Arrive at Sapa in the evening, check in hotel, and free at leisure.

DAY 6: FANSIPAN & SAPA STONE CHURCH

After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby for the discovery of Fansipan Mountain.

Start your adventure by heading to Hoang Lien Station next to the MGallery Hotel de la Coupole to purchase your tickets for the Muong Hoa Mountain Train. Sit back for the five-minute ride over the valley, taking in spectacular vistas of farms and hamlets below. This funicular railway is the longest of its kind in Vietnam and crosses two tunnels and four viaducts. When the train stops, you’ll be greeted by a field of sunflowers at the Sun World Fansipan Legend Yard.

The Sun World Fansipan cable cars holds a Guinness World Record and the ride to the summit is a highlight of many travellers’ time in Sapa. Once you leave the station, you’ll immediately start to float high above the rice terraces and rocky cliffs below. Huge windows let you take in the sights all around, as you ascend gradually to this towering tip above the clouds.

Fansipan, the highest peak of Indochina mountains as well as enjoy stunning views, It is an ideal rendezvous for those who love adventure travel.

You will have a chance to conquer the rooftop of Indochina – Mountain Fansipan with a height of 3143m in Sapa via Fansipan cable car.

Afternoon, depending on your pace, walking around Sapa Square, the main center of Sapa for a visiting as well as visiting Sapa Church. This stone church is considered the most attractive place for sightseeing in Sapa, Vietnam. Located in the center of the Sapa town, this old church was built in the 20th century by the French colonizers. It is also known as the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary and has become a suitable location for the traditional cultural practices of ethnic minority groups there.This stone church is considered the most attractive place for sightseeing in Sapa, Vietnam.

DAY 7: SAPA – BACK TO HANOI

In the morning, you will follow the footsteps take an easy 3km trek to Cat Cat village. We will stop by a waterfall and the old French-built hydroelectric power plant, with time to enjoy a refreshing drink for a while before 2500 feet uphill (mostly steps) where we will ride back up the valley to explore Sapa Town by motobike taxi.

Late morning, prepare for the drive back to Hanoi. This will be on the same road as the journey up and will take around 6 to 7 hours.

DAY 8: HANOI CITY DISCOVERY

After breakfast, we will depart to visit Cathedral of Hanoi, which is the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Hanoi, where the archbishop’s seat is. This is also an ancient church in this city, often taking place the religious activities of the parishioners of the archdiocese of Hanoi.

After that we will visit The Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh which is located in the center of Ba Dinh Square, which is the place where Ho read the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh’s body is preserved in the cooled, central hall of the mausoleum, which is protected by a military honor guard. (inside mausoleum open Tue – Thur only).

After lunch, we will visit Cua Bac Church, which is a Roman Catholic church in Hanoi, Vietnam. Originally named church of Our Lady of the Martyrs, the church was built in 1932 by the French administration of Indochina as a part of Hanoi’s urban plan supervised by Ernest Hébrard.

Spending time to visit The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology which is a highlight museum in Hanoi, focuses on the 54 officially recognised ethnic groups in Vietnam. It is located on a 43,799-square-metre property in the Cầu Giấy District, about 8 km from the city center.

Conclude this day, we will take time to visit Hoan Kiem Lake. The lake is considered the center of Hanoi, not only physically but also symbolically. Peaceful and quiet, the lake surrounds Ngoc Son Temple, a pagoda sitting in the centre on a small island.

DAY 9: HANOI – HALONG BAY – HANOI

Your private vehicle and driver will meet you at your hotel and drive you to your Halong Bay Day Trip Cruise. This pleasant journey through the Red River Delta takes around 3.5 hours, with a refreshment stop along the way.

11:30:   Arrival in Day Cruise to be welcomed onboard by your crew who will be hosting you during the day

12:30:   Lunch is served while continuing your cruising pass by several icons of Ha Long Bay such as Cock Fighting Island, Incense Island which can be seen on the 200,000 dong note, Ba Hang Floating village and finally Dog Island. Enjoy the lazy pace of these tranquil, peaceful and calm waters.

13:45:   Arriving at your first sightseeing destination of Sung Sot “Surprise Cave” disembark your boat and take a guided tour through this large and Heritage cave of Ha Long Bay.

14:45:   The boat will move to Hang Luon  “Luon Cave” area, a water cave for kayaking, rowing bamboo boat. If you do not join any above activities, you could stay on sundeck for relaxing.

15:45:   This is moment will take a rest after activities and you might capture the sunset on the bay with happy hour and cooking demonstration. You also have time to enjoy other amazing sceneries while cruising back.

17:00:   Arrive back at Tuan Chau Marina and disembark.

Your private guide and car will transfer you back to Hanoi.

DAY 10: DEPARTURE

Free at leisure till transferring to airport for your flight home.
