Biking trip to Tra Que Village

Start after breakfast for a 30 minutes gentle bicycle ride through the flat country lanes to Tra Que, which is a charming little village located just a few kilometres northeast of Hoi An.

The village is famous for growing many kinds of vegetables and herbs including: lettuce, salad, houttuynia, flagrant knoutwed, basil and coriander. The village is named after the sweet scented vegetables that spice up the everyday meals of the Hoi An people. By riding your bicycles here, you can see the local farmers doing their daily work when raking the ground, sowing, watering, picking vegetables and many other activities which are rarely seen in modern daily life so that you can understand more about organic farming techniques and try their hand at actual farming. The farmers don’t use chemical or fertilizers but a kind of algae found only in a lagoon in Tra Que. That is reason why Tra Que herbs and veggies are widely recognized for their quality, safety and especially outstanding taste and flavor.

Back to the old town for lunch then get back hotel for relax in the afternoon.
