Designed by local staff who have grown up in the region, this tour introduces you to specially selected signature dishes served on small or shared plates. We want you to experience a range of food and not feel weighted after one stop. We promise that you won’t go away hungry and we hope you go away feeling you’ve experienced a true taste of Hoi An. We will discover some of the traditional dishes of Hoi An, including:
Banh Mi
The signature Vietnamese sandwich hand-made by royalty, the Banh Mi Queen.
Cao Lau
A home cooked noodle dish steeped in a savoury broth that’s been described as part soup, part salad and uniquely Hoi An. Served on the terrace of a small private home in the organic village, you’ll assist in gathering herbs to compliment your meal.
Banh Xeo
No food tour in Hoi An is complete without this sizzling rice pancake delicacy. We’ve selected a local restaurant where you will be welcomed like family and dine like a resident.
Cheese, Beer & Wine
The French influenced many culinary traditions in Vietnam including cheese making. A renaissance of late has resulted in new, quality cheese products. We pair these with Vietnam’s award winning craft beer and a superb rice wine.
Hoi An BBQ with a View
As night falls locals flock to small restaurants along the river for diners of freshly grilled meats and seafood. We’ve selected a fun, tasty spot with views of the historic quarter. It’s a authentic Vietnamese outdoor style BBQ featuring delicious fresh seafood, pork and grilled vegetables.
