    Itinerary

Meet your private guide and driver at your hotel in Hue and begin your pilgrimage journey with a visit to Thien An Monastery, a peaceful Benedictine monastery nestled among pine-covered hills on the outskirts of the city. Surrounded by nature, the monastery offers a tranquil atmosphere ideal for reflection, prayer, and spiritual renewal.

Continue to Phu Cam Cathedral, the mother church of the Archdiocese of Hue and one of the most important Catholic landmarks in Central Vietnam. Its distinctive modern architecture and rich history make it a significant center of faith for local Catholics.

Enjoy a relaxing break at a local coffee shop, where your guide will introduce the day’s program while sharing insights into Hue’s culture, Catholic heritage, and daily life.

After lunch, travel north to Our Lady of La Vang, Vietnam’s most important Marian pilgrimage center. Spend time exploring the shrine, attending Mass if available, and enjoying personal prayer and reflection in this sacred place of devotion.

    Overnight in Quang Tri

After breakfast at the retreat house, enjoy some final moments of prayer at Our Lady of La Vang before returning to Hue.

In the afternoon, visit the Hue Imperial Citadel (optional), the former political and cultural center of the Nguyen Dynasty and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located on the northern bank of the Perfume River, this vast complex includes the Imperial City and the Forbidden Purple City, offering a fascinating glimpse into Vietnam’s royal past. Despite suffering damage during wars and natural disasters, many remarkable structures and historical features remain preserved today.
