    Itinerary

After breakfast at your hotel, your private guide and driver will pick you up at about 8:00 AM for a full-day journey combining Catholic heritage, local culture, and the timeless charm of Hoi An.

Begin the day with a visit to Da Nang Cathedral, famously known as the “Rooster Cathedral” due to the rooster weathercock standing atop its bell tower. Built in 1923 during the French colonial period, this iconic pink cathedral is one of Da Nang’s most recognizable landmarks and remains an important spiritual center for the local Catholic community.

Continue south toward Quang Nam Province to visit Our Lady of Tra Kieu, one of the most important Marian pilgrimage sites in Central Vietnam. According to local Catholic history, the Virgin Mary miraculously protected parishioners during the anti-Christian persecution of 1885. Today, Tra Kieu is a peaceful place of prayer surrounded by beautiful countryside scenery.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its exceptionally preserved trading port atmosphere.

Stroll through the charming lantern-lined streets and discover highlights of the ancient town, including historic merchant houses, local markets, traditional architecture, and the famous Japanese Covered Bridge. Hoi An’s unique blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, and French influences creates a truly memorable cultural experience.

You may also enjoy free time for shopping, relaxing at a riverside café, or exploring the town at your own pace.

After a meaningful and enjoyable day, return to your hotel in Da Nang in the late afternoon.
