Tam Giang Lagoon

This afternoon, we drive around 15km to Tam Giang Lagoon. This lagoon is where three rivers – Huong, Bo and O Lau – meet before they flow into the sea through Thuan An estuary. It’s part of the largest lagoon system in south east Asia, with a combined surface area of around 21,000 hectares – or a bit under 100 sq miles.

Tam Giang is a stunning and peaceful location. We’ll make the most of this, by taking a short cruise with our private boat, on the lagoon. See local fisherman going about their daily work and experience stunning sunsets – this is truly a photographers dream. Return to your hotel in Hue by around 6 pm.
