After disembarking at Chan May Port, meet your private guide and driver and begin the scenic coastal drive south to Da Nang (approx. 60 km – 1.5 hours).
Your first stop is Da Nang Cathedral (Rooster Cathedral), the spiritual center of the Catholic community in the city. Built during the French colonial period, the cathedral is easily recognized by its pink façade and rooster-shaped weather vane. Spend time visiting the church and learning about Catholic life in Central Vietnam.
Continue onward to Hoi An (approximately 30 km – 45 minutes). Upon arrival, explore Hoi An Ancient Town, a beautifully preserved trading port dating back to the 15th century. Stroll through narrow lanes lined with yellow-walled houses, ancient temples, and traditional shops, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere along the river.
There will be free time for lunch at a local restaurant (own arrangement or as arranged in advance) and personal exploration, including shopping for handicrafts or taking photos of Hoi An’s iconic architecture.
In the afternoon, depart Hoi An and return comfortably to Chan May Port, arriving well in time for your cruise departure.
